The Numbers in Your Practice You Must Know by Tomorrow Morning: How to Read Them, What They Mean, and What to Fix When They’re Off

Office managers are expected to understand practice financial performance, yet few have ever been formally taught how to interpret the numbers that drive billing success. This course is designed to close that gap.
In this practical and highly actionable session, attendees will learn the specific revenue and billing metrics they should be able to confidently explain without pulling reports or guessing. Topic Details: Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how patients search for and choose a dentist. Instead of ranking websites based solely on keywords and links, AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT and Google Gemini analyze questions, break them into sub-queries, retrieve information from multiple sources across the internet, and synthesize answers tailored to the patient’s intent.

This presentation explains how large language models function as research assistants, how they gather and evaluate information, and how they present recommendations to prospective dental patients. Attendees will see real examples of AI search queries and explore where these systems source their information. By understanding how AI search differs from traditional SEO, dental professionals will learn why content must be written and distributed differently than in the past.
