Dental Assistants are often cross-trained in the role of Office Manager or Practice Administrator. Due to the physical nature of the position, many DAs choose to transition full time to the front office. The DA to PA curriculum is designed for anyone who is being cross trained or considering making a move to the role of Practice Administrator.

Avoiding Easy Excuses for Canceled Appointments

Last minute cancellations are one of the most damaging revenue factors in our dental practices. 67% of practices across the country have seen an increase of last-minute cancellations and no-shows since the onset of the pandemic. Many practices feel that patients now have a "Get Out of Jail Free" card and can easily site a COVID exposure for the reason that they are canceling the day of the appointment. Learn how to decrease no-shows in your practice, and strategies for filling last minute cancellations related to COVID exposures.
